We support sustainable agriculture practices and have joined forces with the Surfrider Foundation in Monterey County to protect our beaches and reduce the amount of plastic that ends up in our ocean. Revival has also been recognized and certified as “green” by The Monterey Bay Area Green Business Program. We operate in an environmentally responsible way and meet compliances that demonstrates that our practices minimizes waste and conserve resources.
The Inspire & Empower
Program at Revival
The Inspire & Empower Program was created by our Owner and Founder, Adriana Shuman in 2018. This program was developed from her passion for supporting local youth in the community by empowering them to see their own light, vision while inspiring them to pursue their dreams and believe in themselves.
During their Friday afternoon gatherings, Adriana also talks to them about healthy food ingredients like flax seeds, cinnamon sticks and spirulina, while giving them fun behind the scenes tour of the production of ice cream. Then they get to create and enjoy their own ice cream sundaes with their friends.
We’ve donated over 1,680 scoops of Revival ice cream through our Inspired & Empowered Kids program in just two years, and thousands more scoops through our community donations and fundrasiers.
Local Non-Profits We Support
Revival is also humbled and proud to work alongside many local Monterey business, organizations and nonprofits such as;
Community Partnership for Youth (CPY)
CPY helps children grow beyond the city limits by providing a safe, structured environment that encourages positive self-esteem and helps young people make the right decisions for a full, bright and successful future. As the most successful prevention program in Monterey California, Revival is flattered to host multiple groups from CPY every Friday for The Inspire & Empower Program.
MEarth is building an interconnected community of engaged citizens and future leaders by promoting analytical thinking through experience-based learning at the Hilton Bialek Habitat. Through their teaching, they seek to inspire life-long learning that is engaging, exciting, and deeply fulfilling.
MY Museum's mission is to provide an environment where curiosity and creativity flourish, while both children and adults discover the thrill of lifelong learning. The Monterey County Youth Museum began as a project of the Junior League of Monterey County, Inc. and has since evolved into a community-based, nonprofit organization. MY Museum is the only children’s museum located between San Luis Obispo and Santa Cruz counties.
Big Sur Charter School
Big Sur Charter School believes in a holistic approach to learning. They offer a learning experience that is created by combining education at their tuition-free charter School with their community and in nature. They promote creativity, understanding and action in the arts and environment.
