Where oh where to begin with my favorite flavor? As tried and true as the dessert it’s named after, I always find myself going in for a scoop of apple pie ice cream. With a sweet tooth as big as mine, I’m always up for ice cream with lots of personality, and this flavor definitely has that!

How can you go wrong with a sweet organic apple jam, rich cream cheese, a crunchy oat streusel, and the warm spice of toasted cinnamon? Whew, that’s a mouthful, but a delicious one at that!

I always laugh when my coworkers describe it as a flavor that has “a lot going on” because it’s true! And yet, there’s still this great simplicity to it and a real balance of flavors that just keeps me coming back for more.

At its core (excuse the apple pun) it really does remind me of enjoying a slice of homemade apple pie.

And just that image alone conjures up really warm memories for me of my home, where mom always had something sweet baking in the oven.

Memories of my friends and I making silly baking videos for school projects and laughing together over our finished products, which definitely were never Food Network worthy. Memories of cozy holidays spent with my family, where pies and baked treats would make their way around the table, along with plenty of stories and jokes.

Now, I can simply go on about how the apple pie flavor itself is just fantastic, but looking at it now, it’s more than that. The little connections and nostalgic memories it brings to me with each spoonful, now that’s why it’s really special.
